RO systems often use several cartridges with different replacement schedules. The membrane may last much longer than a prefilter or carbon filter.

Use the schedule for your exact model

For example, Waterdrop currently publishes different cartridge schedules across its G and X Series systems. The G3P800 comparison information lists six months for CF, twelve months for CB, and twenty four months for the RO filter.

Why timing can vary

Water use and incoming water conditions can affect filter life. Follow the manufacturer instructions and any filter life indicator built into the system rather than using a generic calendar for every RO system.
