Countertop vs under sink reverse osmosis

The biggest difference is installation. Countertop RO is easier to place and move. Under sink RO keeps the appliance out of sight and sends water to a faucet.

Choose countertop when

You rent, want minimal plumbing work, or prefer a dispenser that can include hot or cold water features.

Choose under sink when

You want the counter clear, prefer water directly from a faucet, and have room plus the required connections below the sink.
